2010-2013: Project funded by NCBiR in the frame of LIDER programme:
“Development of economic ultrasound platform”

2007-2010: Development Project:
“The implementation of digital signal processing and new diagnostic algorithms into Doppler transcranial examination”.

In the Project a prototype of medical device – the transcranial multi-gate Doppler system – has been created/developed. The system is dedicated to test and monitor the flow of blood in the intracranial vessels using pulsed Doppler technique. The apparatus/device has been implemented to production at Sonomed Ltd.

2008-2010: Strategic research project “Polish Artificial Heart”:
“Non-invasive measurement of biological parameters necessary for implanted prosthetic heart”

The project concerned a development of the model system for the measurement of minute volume output of the artificial heart based on the ultrasonic Doppler technique. The instrumentation, consisting of ultrasonic transducers mounted on the connector of artificial heart ventricle, and the prototype electronic module with processing software, have been implemented. The system has been verified in the chamber for continuous flow as well as pulse flow at Foundation for Cardiac Surgery Development in Zabrze. Further research will include miniaturization of the system and development of the algorithms for microemboli detection.
